WWE kept people guessing on Ronda Rousey's role at WrestleMania 34. Although it appeared logical to tie up loose ends (from 'Mania 31) with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, the ex-UFC standout marched to the ring at Royal Rumble to interact with WWE's women.

For a second, some on social media worried that she'd be pushed into the title picture too soon.

She won't be. Ronda's role at 'Mania will be to arm bar the hell out of Stephanie and stand victorious alongside Kurt Angle. Before her surprise appearance at the Rumble changed things, it seemed like Kurt would go up against Triple H one-on-one; Dave Meltzer had been reporting that the match was on since Angle returned to WWE.

Rousey's signing, along with The Rock's busy Hollywood schedule ruling him out during WrestleMania season, meant Kurt was the one slipped into the partner role. It's still a huge match, but Angle vs. Triple H must surely happen before the end of the year.
