10 (Other) Times Women's Wrestling Dominated WWE

8. Mae Young Gets Wood

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xa6P58_Dzws Intriguingly enough, one of the moments that truly proved how tough women's wrestlers are had absolutely nothing to do with two women wrestling each other. By 2000, the idea that women could wrestle well was already established. However, the idea of women being tough wrestlers was proven by none other than Bubba Ray Dudley, for whom getting both him and D-Von Over in the WWF was directly linked to him powerbombing women through tables. Bubba Ray powerbombed "pregnant" Mae Young twice through tables. Once was in the ring, and a week later was from the Raw entrance ramp through tables placed 10 feet below. At 77 years of age, Mae going through tables unscathed actually did a great deal to raise awareness for women being just as able as men to be tough in modern-era WWE.
