There's a good argument to make that the 25-minute broadway for the NXT Women's Championship between Charlotte and Natalya was the Match of the Year (both men and women considered) for 2014. On every level, the contest between the second and third-generation performers delivered in every way that it needed to deliver. Charlotte's the daughter of Ric Flair, one of the most iconic wrestlers of all time. Nattie's the niece of Bret Hart, also one of the most beloved wrestlers ever, too. Given that both Ric and Bret were at ringside here makes this fantastic, too. All of the pieces big and small combine alongside some fantastic and athletic wrestling to make this a standout and also showcase where wrestling in WWE needed to immediately evolve. If looking for a moment that changed WWE (again), look no further than this contest.
