6. European Wrestlers Are Technically Sound Midcarders
For every Fit Finlay, William Regal, Dave Taylor and so many more who excelled as European-born wrestlers who had main event level grappling skills, but lacked that "certain something" in the charisma department to really get over, seeing Finn Balor as a certified huge money main event mainstay for WWE's future must be awesome. Same goes for Paige, as well as Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Neville and so many more who are shoving open the door for the European continent in North American pro wrestling. Gone are the days that Brits, Irishment and wrestlers from around Europe were "World of Sport" and "catch-as-catch-can"-style journeymen who assisted in crafting musclebound American main eventers. Seeing Europeans shatter their glass ceiling in the WWE-style presentation of the industry is a wonderful development.
