7. Randy Orton Gets Sectioned Due To Voices In Head
Every time Randy Orton's entrance music rings throughout the arena, it's a cry for help that goes repeatedly ignored. The man hears voices in his head for Christ's sake! Voices that no doubt perpetually demand him to deliver RKOs to oblivious victims!
With 'The Viper' becoming stagnant over the years, having already accomplished near enough everything there is for a pro-wrestler to achieve, this mental health issue could add some much needed depth to his character. There's precedent to superstars being committed as well, in WCW at least, as seen with 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair. Thankfully, Scott Hall busted him out. The former 'Legend Killer' of course spent a lot of time with 'Naitch' during their Evolution days; perhaps they had more in common than meets the eye?
Mental health has rightfully become more of a talking point in today's society, and this is an angle that could reflect that and possibly even carry a positive message if handled with care. However, we're looking at this through the lens of Vine Russo circa 1998/99, so Randy would probably be confined to a straitjacket - sentenced to serve time in an Arkham-like insane asylum. To be fair, this is a man who once locked Paul Bearer in a freezer and left a cameraman to burn alive at Bray Wyatt's evil lair; schizophrenia aside, it's about time such justice was served!
