10 Over-Hyped Wrestling Main Events NOBODY Even Remembers Now

1. CM Punk Vs Jon Moxley (AEW All Out 2022)

CM Punk and Jon Moxley contested what was probably one of the most underrated outings of 2022 in the main event of Chicago's All Out pay-per-view, but it's the fault of the former that nobody had anything to say about any of the card mere minutes after he'd left an unforgettable press scrum.

A bloody and attritional battle that made the most of Punk's grinding and gruelling veteran strategy and Moxley's seamless situational heel shtick, this was the exact main event 'The Voice Of The Voiceless' probably would have experienced more of had he not immediately gotten injured after winning his first World Title then incinerated the organisation upon his return.

Punk's latest statement on his ongoing absence from AEW suggests that Moxley didn't want to lose to him during their discussions along the way, which adds yet more real life drama to a slice of fiction that's already been lost to the chaos.
