10 Overlooked Positives From WrestleMania 32

6. Tatanka!

Though Baron Corbin winning the André Memorial Battle Royal was a pleasant though slightly tempered surprise, there were a number of other unexpected occurrences in the match that rendered it far better than its throwaway nature promised.

Firstly, there was DDP. Page - who turns sixty two days after the show - didn't show any of his age, as he delivered a Diamond Cutter to the terrible Konnor before tossing him over. That's the power of positivity.

Then there was Tatanka. Tatanka! He didn't even get an entrance, and the announce team entirely ignored his involvement. Yet there he was, looking to capitalise on his unbeaten run of 1992-93 by winning the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal twenty-four years later.

Ultimately, the Native American didn't prevail, but his mere incomprehensible presence in a WrestleMania ring in 2016 made the whole seven hour show almost worth enduring. And he looked almost as in shape as Chris Jericho.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
