10 Overlooked Positives From WrestleMania 32

5. The Outstanding Production

Dazzling, exquisite production at a WWE event is nothing new, particularly at WrestleMania. However, though it is par for the course, it doesn't make the spectacle any less breathtaking.

From start to finish, WrestleMania 32 was a visual treat as WWE proved once again that when it comes to putting on a sensational show, they are virtually unparalleled. From The New Day charging down the ramp in full gladiatorial garb having broken out of a giant box of cereal (yes, you read that), to the flamin' Rock working the crowd to a, well, a flaming 'Rock', WrestleMania 32 pulled out all the stops to make sure you knew this was 'the greatest show on earth'.

It wasn't perfect; Stephanie's soliloquy atop a throne heralding the arrival of her husband bordered on pantomime, for example. But the rest worked perfectly. The undeniable highlight was Charlotte's entrance through a mesmerising cherry blossom shower, bedecked in a recut of her father's most legendary robe. It was the perfect way to give the 'new' WWE Women's Champion the gravitas she and the division deserve - truly heart-stopping stuff.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
