10 Overlooked Positives From WrestleMania 32
4. Roman Reigns Fulfils His WrestleMania Destiny
Nobody wanted to see it in 2015, and nobody wanted to see it in 2016 either, but it finally happened: Roman Reigns fulfilled his destiny to lift the WWE Championship at 'The Showcase of Immortals'.
A cacophony of boos echoed around the AT&T Stadium as Reigns made his entrance, continuing throughout the dreary title match before finally subsiding as an exhausted crowd accepted the unavoidable outcome. The expected conclusion came to fruition, and the sight of 'the Samoan Badass' reigning supreme closed a show replete with disappointment.
The fan's left unhappy, but the lingering air of crushing inevitability has been replaced with one of relief. Roman has had his big moment, and WWE have got it out of their system. Whether things will get better for Reigns as he embarks on his first full title run remains to be seen, but at least the path ahead of him isn't tediously predictable. His fate at WrestleMania 33 remains a mystery. Who knows, he might even be popular by then.
