Another man who is in the same boat as Mysterio. Jarrett was a solid mid-card wrestler. No more, no less. If he was just a one-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion he wouldn't be getting a mention. We are all aware of the political statement Vince Russo was trying to make to Hulk Hogan when the started to put the strap on the likes of Jarrett and Booker T. However, the fact he's held the top title no less than four times is shocking, and certainly makes his achievements well above his station. WWE booked him where he arguably should have been. He was a great mid-card heel during his two stints with Vince McMahon's company, winning one European Championship and enjoying six Intercontinental Championship reigns. Even WCW seemingly knew what they had as Jarrett held the United States Championship three times. This is no damming evaluation of Jeff's career. We are simply saying he was a very talented wrestler, who was given a couple more accolades than he should have been entitled to.
