You can count on one hand every move Kevin Nash did, so why did he make such an impact in the business? He is one of the few wrestlers that hit the big time in both WWF and WCW and you'd be silly to completely reject the notion that politics got him to both lofty pedestals. In the WWF locker room, Nash was a founding member of The kliq who notoriously had Vince's ear because they 'love and cared for the business so much.' We're all aware of the shananigans in WCW. Nash was even booker at one point - around the same time he ended Goldberg's streak. Very Suspicious. There's no doubting Nash's look and the charisma he had. But what else did he have to offer? Nash won the WWF Tag Team championships and also held the prestigious WWF Intercontinental championship at the same time. After a feud with Shawn Michaels he defeated Bob Backlund for the WWE Championship. Nash had a long run as the WWF champion but the gates and revenues continued to drop during this run which indicates the fans were thinking then what we are saying now. Nash finally dropped the WWF championship, and then left the WWF for WCW in 1996. Down in WCW he held five World Heavyweight Championships and nine tag team championships with various partners. As for his legacy, he won't be remembered as an outstanding athlete, or for putting on five star matches. he won't be remembered for helping other wrestlers to get over, or for being well liked back stage. That being said, he was part of the biggest angle in wrestling history in The NWO. Nash also allegedly booked himself to win the title on more than on occasion and will be remembered for his 'vanilla midgets' comments, burying the smaller, more gifted WCW talent.
