While trusted hands such as Bruce Prichard and the late, great Pat Patterson have been fired (and later rehired) by Vince McMahon, one person who has consistently been at his side for decades is Kevin Dunn.

Regardless of the ins and outs at Titan Towers, Dunn has long been one of McMahon's most trusted allies, with him having been first brought into the then-WWF fold by Vince as an associate producer back in 1984.

The story goes, Kevin's father Dennis was close with Vince McMahon Sr. When Dennis saved a bunch of WWF tapes from being ravaged in a fire, Vince Sr. promised to look after Dennis' son when he got older. Thus, Kevin Dunn likewise became close friends with Vince Jr. and was eventually hired by WWF shortly after Jr. took over the company.

These days, Kevin Dunn is the Executive Producer and Chief of Global Television Production for WWE and has a direct hand on what appears on our TV screens every Monday, Friday and now sadly Tuesdays. Regardless of how many people within the industry have slated him - Jon Moxley recently referring to Kevin as a "little c*nt rat", a "d*ckless motherf*cker" and "the Magical King Wizard who lives in the truck and controls the universe" in his Mox book - Vince still remains blindly loyal to Dunn.

If McMahon has a say in his eventual successor, it wouldn't be the most insane outcome to see Vince let Dunn take the reins - even if it is unlikely.
