10 People You Won't Believe Are Still Employed By WWE

5. Christian

The number of concussions suffered by Christian over the course of his career is unknown but what is apparent is that they have brought an end to his in-ring career. No longer medically cleared to continue working inside the squared circle, Christian has appeared only briefly as part of the pay-per-view kickoff panel once or twice, and as co-host of Raw and SmackDown alongside former tag team partner Edge. So infrequent have his appearances been that it would not be out of line to suggest that the highly decorated WWE Superstar no longer works for the company in a contracted role. Contrary to what the evidence may suggest, the former world, intercontinental, tag team, European and hardcore champion still works for the company that helped him become a star in the industry. What he does now is a mystery. At one point, there was talk of him becoming a trainer at the performance center but little has come of that. He has not regularly appeared on the pre-shows or kickoff panels, and his presence elsewhere on the WWE Network is nonexistent. Whatever he does or does not do, his allegiance to WWE remains intact, as does his popularity whenever he does step through the curtain and perform inside the squared circle.
