6. Stalling Suplex
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwD-af8ZWd0 The Stalling Suplex was one of the best moves in the arsenal of Davey Boy Smith, otherwise known as The British Bulldog. It's a tremendous display of muscle, one which never fails to impress both the live audience around ringside or the fans watching at home. Keith Walker, who previously held a WWE developmental deal, is one of the best proponents of the move around. In this clip, he exhibits just how impressive the hold can be during a match for Japanese-based promotion Pro Wrestling NOAH. Holding his opponent vertical for 10-15 seconds, the idea is that all the blood rushes to the head, supposedly adding to the impact of the move overall. Keep a close eye on the guy taking the suplex, and notice how he's the one doing most of the work. If his poise and balance were even slightly off, there's no way Walker would be able to keep him vertical for any great length of time. Of course, it takes two to make it look the way it does, but the Stalling Suplex is reliant on the ability of the wrestler on the receiving end effectively doing an assisted handstand on the shoulders of his co-worker.
