10 Physically Impossible Wrestling Moves

7. Powerbomb

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoeMtsx22c0 The Powerbomb is one of the most kick-ass looking moves in wrestling, that fact can't be denied. It's also highly dangerous, which is why WWE have taken steps to restrict the move - from here on out, expect the move to only make appearances on special occasions. The chances of neck injury are just too high, but it's nonetheless a shame to think we've seen the last of this timeless hold on a regular basis. Sycho Sid, also known as Sid Vicious, made a career out of delivering a killer Powerbomb, as highlighted in the clip which accompanies this entry. It routinely looked brutal, even on bigger opponents, but would never have been possible without some degree of athleticism from the person on the receiving end. Look at how Razor Ramon uses Sid's legs to steady himself, before bending at the knee and jumping, pulling with his arms and combining his own strength with that of his fellow worker, flipping nicely into position, before being dropped to the mat. A key point here is to pay attention to how little time Ramon spends horizontal, before gravity takes centre stage and the move is finished - there's no way Sid could have held him in such a position for any length of time, it's a beautiful illusion.
