10 Plot Holes From WWE History You Probably Missed

7. Daniel Bryan WrestleMania XXX Celebration

WWE.comWWE.comIt's all in the details, people! Daniel Bryan's landmark victories at WrestleMania XXX were a long time coming and incredibly gratifying for most of WWE's fanbase. Logic finally prevailed and officials gave the title to the company's most over performer, but there was certainly a lack of consistency in the details. On the March 17 edition of Raw, Triple H attacked a handcuffed Bryan, brutalizing him before smashing his shoulder into the turnbuckle with a steel chair. To sell the injury, The American Dragon was taken off TV the following week. Following their stellar opening match at WrestleMania XXX, Triple H blindsided Bryan and barraged him in much the same way, but this time the wounded challenger would be wrestling for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship around two hours later. I should clarify that by no means and I complaining here. The COO's post-match beat down on Bryan added plenty of drama to the show's main event, and it was certainly worth the sacrifice of the plothole. But a plothole is a plothole, even if it was worth the sacrifice. The whole situation was made slightly more unbelievable when Bryan celebrated his victory by wildly flinging both titles into the air. YES, a picture of him victoriously raising both belts in the air following WrestleMania XXX was great, but it didn't make much sense considering Bryan couldn't lift his arm going into the match.
