10 Plot Holes From WWE History You Probably Missed

6. The 2011 Walkout

WWE.comWWE.comIn the Autumn of 2011 the WWE Superstars and officials walked out on Triple H thanks to the 'unsafe work environment' that he had created during his brief time as COO. Although a professional wrestler complaining about an 'unsafe working environment' is about as silly as a janitor complaining about an unclean one, at least the performers espousing these view were mostly heels, so at least it can be said to be a heat-drawing device. However, the chaos of the company was one of the things that was only talked about and never justified - they had Mike Chioda say things to the effect of 'in all my years here, this is the most dangerous time,' and even Jerry Lawler claimed the show was 'spiraling out of control.' But their reasons behind these statements were tenuous at best. Their complaints mainly revolved around the then-fired Miz and R-Truth's (few) attacks on officials, and to a lesser extent Mark Henry's inducting folks into his Hall of Pain. Anyone who's been a fan of wrestling for at least five years would've been watching the angle unfold and thinking 'this isn't as crazy as that time when (insert one of a multitude of outrageous plots or spots).' The whole walkout was meant to sell the idea that someone was working against Triple H behind the scenes - but nothing really became of it, making the flimsy plot and inconsequential one, too.
