10 Pointless Acts Of Wrestling Bravery That Were Totally Forgotten

7. Molly Holly Shaved Bald

Reportedly suggesting the idea herself to Vince McMahon, Molly Holly's WrestleMania XX head shaving was designed to create a major talking point on the 2004 'Showcase of The Immortals', but thanks to WWE's sardonic treatment of women's wrestling at the time, the history-making moment was relegated to filler on the pay-per-view.

Her subpar six minute Women's Title match with Victoria did little to raise enthusiasm amongst a tired Madison Square Garden crowd three hours in to the bloated card, but the grand payoff of her eventual buzzcut deserved far more attention than it received.

The cameras stuck with the women briefly as Victoria took a razor to Molly's mane, but coldly cut away midway through to promote the Kurt Angle/Eddie Guerrero match that was due to follow.

A brief return to a now-bald Holly briefly featured before the card, company, and audience just completely moved on.

Adding insult to injury, the match wasn't even the most-promoted female match on the show, with a 'Playboy' Evening Gown Match featuring Torrie Wilson, Sable, Stacy Keibler, and Miss Jackie predictably stealing the majority of the headlines for their bikini-clad roll-about.
