When the vignettes for Kevin Owens debuted a couple months ago, Owens stated he would fight anyone and everyone because that's what he does best. There wouldn't be a better way to prove this than to enter into the 2015 Royal Rumble match. There will be a multitude of WWE superstars for Owens to get his hands on. His main motivation is "they were first", meaning they made the WWE before he did. Appearing at the Rumble could be retribution for him. Owens definitely has the talent to be on the main roster sooner than later, so his stay in NXT may be short. Much like Rusev made an appearance in the Rumble months before his main roster debut, Owens could do the same. Owens is most likely more than just a couple months away from being on the main roster, but an appearance in the Rumble can definitely introduce him to the mass WWE audience, and put some eyes on what should be an amazing feud between Owens and Sami Zayn.
