At some point, the disingenuous swine is going to turn on his so-called friend and stoke the fires of competition for his World Cup trophy before WrestleMania. The story practically writes itself, but what if WWE's writers switch their roles?

It's hardly inconceivable that Shane-O could thank Miz for those shiny new sneakers by clunking him with the 'Best In The World' cup and leaving him high and dry at the Rumble. Nobody would expect that McMahon heel turn (because Shane is such a good dude), and that's the beauty of it.

Maybe WWE will feel that the SmackDown Commish is ripe for a heel run himself and fancy giving Miz a shot at playing babyface for the first time in years. It'd certainly shake things up on Tuesday nights, and it'd end this phony partnership that's hard to take seriously.
