10 Potential WWE Royal Rumble 2018 Winners

4. Braun Strowman

While Samoa Joe saw his stock rise following a summer feud with Brock Lesnar, the same wasn’t entirely true for Braun Strowman. The 'Monster Among Men' challenged 'The Beast Incarnate' for the WWE Universal Championship at WWE No Mercy, but the match was disappointing. Many expected a brutal big-man brawl, but a plodding slugfest took place instead.

Strowman seems to be undergoing a face turn as he feuds with The Miz. Despite the quality of Miz’s promos, this is clearly a step down from working with the likes of Lesnar and Roman Reigns. For the first nine months of 2017, Braun Strowman was a genuine hot property - his momentum has cooled significantly since the Lesnar match.

Even so, Braun Strowman is another contender to win the 2018 Royal Rumble. Strowman is as imposing and dominating as they come, and could be impossible to stop if he gets on a roll. If he can avoid elimination when everyone inevitably gangs up on him, Strowman could well be in line for a WrestleMania main event.

Either that or a career as a 'threat' to win battle royals.
