10 Potential WWE Royal Rumble 2018 Winners

3. Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens is on course to become the most important performer on SmackDown Live. It remains to be seen whether or not the former WWE Universal Champion will face any punishment for being sent home from the European tour (which I still believe to be a red herring), but a lengthy feud with Shane McMahon is not to be sniffed at.

Owens and the newly-heel Sami Zayn have been the most entertaining act on SmackDown Live since Sami’s turn. Owens feels like a star and carries himself like one too. This feud with Shane-O Mac may well only be the start for the 'Prizefighter'.

WWE should go all in on Kevin Owens. Have the former Intercontinental and United States Champion win the Royal Rumble before claiming the richest prize in the game at WrestleMania 34. Owens is a popular heel who still manages to get heat from crowds all over the world. His talent should not be restrained in any way. WWE has a star on its hands with 'Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare'.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
