10 Potential WWE Super ShowDown 2020 Opponents For Goldberg

4. Randy Orton

Menacing, vindictive and cold Randy Orton is the best kind of Randy Orton. His brutal attack on Edge after the Royal Rumble was a reminder of that, and it sets up a drool-worthy grudge match between the pair at WrestleMania 36. Beforehand, Orton may well fancy another big payday.

He'd have to beat Goldberg though.

If Randy goes into 'Mania with a blemish on his recent record, his credibility as the kind of swine who could end Edge's career for good will be shot. Should he be the one WWE program against Goldberg, then it's a must that he punts his old Evolution enemy in the skull and laughs about it afterwards.

Defeat is not an option for Orton here. Meanwhile, Goldberg can take a loss with dignity, especially if Randy sends a message to his old partner Edge by smashing Bill with a 'conchairto' and kicking his temple so hard he blacks out. As odd as it sounds, it's not ridiculous to cast Goldberg as a sympathetic old war horse if it serves another story.
