10 Potential WWE Super ShowDown 2020 Opponents For Goldberg

5. Seth Rollins

"He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy".

Countless old-school comedy fans would pop their little socks off if Goldberg quoted Terry Jones' character in Monty Python's 'Life Of Brian' classic. Obviously, that's said in jest, because it's more likely that he'd bellow a quick, "You're Next!" at someone like Seth Rollins instead of referencing surrealist British comedies.

Seth is more of a tag wrestler than singles these days, but that doesn't mean he can't return to one-on-one action at Super ShowDown and take a pasting from Goldberg. There's a marquee quality to babyface Bill vs. heel Rollins too, and there's an easy out for WWE if they don't fancy heaping misery on Seth by having him lose.

AOP and Buddy Murphy could get involved to slap the veteran down and give Rollins' new heel group a meaningful scalp they could brag about on TV afterwards. If Goldberg was interested, this could also lead to an eight-man tag (Goldberg, Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe and Aleister Black vs. the heels) post-ShowDown.
