10 Potential WWE WrestleMania 36 Opponents For John Cena

3. Seth Rollins

'Monday Night Messiah', eh? That'd be Cena's first thought if he romped back onto the WWE scene and found himself face-to-face with Seth Rollins. As a man who once carried the flagship brand on his back for years, the old-stager might not be able to resist the thought of being the guy who puts Rollins and pals in their place.

Would this sacrifice their momentum? Absolutely? Would it mean easy wins for Cena over Murphy and AOP? Most likely. Would the duelling promos between delusional Seth and well-meaning returning hero Cena be barrel loads of funs? No doubt.

Again though, much like Adam Cole (and several others on this list), Rollins would have to win in the end.

It'd be torturous for Seth if Cena strolled into 'Mania 36, beat him and then buggered back off to Hollywood as the full-time crew picked up fragments of lost credibility. Rollins, Murphy and AOP need to look strong, and they would do if the so-called 'Messiah' sent Cena scurrying back to the silver screen.
