6. Stu Grayson

Many AEW fans scratch their heads and wonder how The Dark Order is even still a thing. This writer is one of them, but some All Elite hardcores still have a lot of love in their hearts for Evil Uno's gang. Stu Grayson was a big part of The Order's business before his recent release.

His story is a quirky one.

AEW taped a 12-man tag match on 27 April 2022. That was set to air on the 2 May edition of Dark: Elevation, and it did. Y'know what else happened that day? Grayson's contract with the company expired and he left. Yep, he technically appeared on programming after he was already gone.

Stu's post-match "claw" pose would be his last hurrah in the promotion. He'd debuted with a bang back during the first Double Or Nothing pay-per-view in 2019, but opportunities had become more limited in the increasingly-overlooked Order stable since then.
