10 Precise Moments When WCW Careers Ended

No-one will ever forget how much of a badass a bloody Steve Austin looked when he passed out to Bret Hart's Sharpshooter at WrestleMania 13. Clearly feeling inspired by that timeless moment, WCW decided to try the same thing with DDP on their final pay-per-view, Greed, in March 2001.

Page lost consciousness once Scott Steiner locked him in a match-winning Steiner Recliner. Soaked in blood and unable to show any signs of life, the proud babyface nonetheless refused to submit. This finish made DDP look amazing, and the stirring World Title match is rightly considered one of the best from WCW's final few years.

It was also Page's last for the company that made him.

Greed took place on 18 March, and the final Nitro happened on 26 March. By then, DDP was probably already negotiating with the WWF about how to switch over his contract, and he only appeared in video packages on the last flagship.
