5. Jack Swagger

At least Ryder got the dignity of bowing out on WWE's flagship. Jack Swagger, meanwhile, had to make do with wrestling his final match on a show barely anyone watched. The former World Heavyweight Champion kicked the snot out of Simon Gotch on the 2 November 2016 edition of 'C' show Main Event.

Then, he exclusively wrestled on live events before leaving the promotion behind on 13 March 2017. Yep, Mr. Swagger had quite the extensive house show run pre-departure, but that Main Event scrap proved to be his last televised match for the company.

Before leaving, Jack put his hand across his chest and bellowed, "We The People" along with fans (who were sitting around waiting on Raw to start). This match vs. Gotch of The Vaudevillains was as low-key an exit from telly as anybody could've booked.

Of course, Swagger has since shown up in AEW as Jake Hager. His WWE career fizzled out.
