10 Precise Moments Wrestlers Should Have Retired

2. The Big Show - WWE RAW, September 4 2017

The Big Show worked a more than half-decent secret WrestleMania 36 match against Drew McIntyre, and prior to that was only of any real use, in recent years, when he put Braun Strowman over big in a super-fun Steel Cage match in 2017 in what was inferred as an informal passing of the big f*cker torch.

But WWE didn't make that explicit. A torch is one thing; a scalp is something else entirely. For once, they could have been less subtle about things.

This wasn't built as a last stand, there was no ceremony to it, and it was rather undermined when Show came back inexplicably, as he is wont to do, in 2018, the abiding - and more potent - memory of which is urine. When recalling Big Show's sporadic twilight years, people are far more likely to remember that time he made Drake Maverick piss himself, as opposed to the time he "made" Braun Strowman. This was no Cactus Jack makes Triple H/Randy Orton deal, either. Is Show capable of that at his advanced age, with his virtually meaningless blur of a legacy (odd bangers and banter notwithstanding)?

Whenever he goes out - and he deserves the pomp and circumstance after such a loyal tenure - he absolutely must turn mid-match in an affectionate nod to his abiding legacy.
