10 Predictions For WWE SmackDown Superstar Shake-Up Tonight

2. Seth Rollins Boosts The Main Event

Last night saw Kurt Angle state that as long as he is General Manager, Seth Rollins will have a home on Raw. The Architect was jumped by Samoa Joe shortly after, but overcame Triple H’s 'Destroyer,' and was left standing strong. These moves would suggest that he won’t be shifted tonight, but this was likely just an elaborate red herring designed to keep the fans guessing, and there's a strong chance Rollins’ will still be part of the Shake-up’s biggest trade.

It’s hard to plot Rollins’ future on Raw. He isn’t likely to challenge Brock Lesnar anytime soon, with the likes of Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman reportedly set for shots in the near future. Finn Balor also has a claim on the belt he never truly lost, shunting Rollins down the pecking order, and reducing his importance on the red brand.

Angle doesn’t want to let Seth go, but he might not have a choice if he wants to make a play for a certain member of SmackDown’s roster. As one of Raw’s most popular stars, Rollins would be an excellent bargaining chip in such a deal, and he’d brain a huge boost to SD’s main event scene.
