10 Predictions For WWE SmackDown Superstar Shake-Up Tonight

3. Roman Reigns Stays Put

On the Raw side, one name has been at the heart of constant trade speculation since WWE’s roster changes were first announced: Roman Reigns. Having ended The Undertaker’s career, 'The Guy'; should be set for a new challenge on Tuesday nights, but while the rumours persist, Reigns switching brands now looks unlikely.

Roman is probably staying on Raw. SD needs top stars, but it won’t be the former WWE Champion, whose feud with Braun Strowman continued through a brutal ambulance-based assault last night. Furthermore, media chatter suggests that while WWE were initially planning on moving Reigns, they have since backtracked, and he’ll be staying put on the red brand.

He remains the most divisive wrestler in the world today, but Reigns’ arrival would have brought an unquestionably large level of intrigue to SmackDown. Love him or hate him, he’d be a huge acquisition, and likely just as dominant as he is on Mondays. It won’t be happening tonight, though: at least one major player will swap shows on SmackDown, but not this one. Reigns will stay on Raw, work through the Strowman feud, and eventually rebuild himself as a title challenger ahead of his rumoured WrestleMania 34 main event with Brock Lesnar.
