One man who could make the jump, however, is “The King of Strong Style”.

Nakamura’s only been at the Performance Centre for a few months, but he’s clearly ready to move up. His Dallas debut was close to perfect, he followed it with another excellent showing against Austin Aries at Takeover: The End, and he's proven he can work short WWE-style TV matches without compromising his trademark style.

WWE would be wasting time by keeping Nakamura on NXT any longer. His prodigious in-ring talent and uniquely weird charisma make him an absolute must-see attraction, and one that deserves the biggest possible stage.

Just don’t turn him into Funaki. Pleeeeaaassseee don’t turn him into Funaki.
