10 Predictions For WWE's Brand Split 2016

2. Bobby Roode And/or Eric Young Will Get The Call

WWE Draft 2
NXT

Nobody quite seems to know what’s going on with Bobby Roode and Eric Young at the moment.

Roode has made fleeting appearances on the last two Takeover specials and wrestled for NXT at last week’s Download Festival, while Young wrestled Samoa Joe on NXT’s May 4th episode and hasn’t been seen since.

My prediction? At least one of them is headed to the main roster.

Roode and Young are veteran performers with proven track records. They have a certain amount of name value, and at this stage in their careers, they’re unlikely to benefit too much from an extended spell down in Orlando.

Not only that, but both have years and years of experience working a sports entertainment style for television during their time with TNA.

They’ll both need to grow and adapt to the WWE style but, as it stands, Bobby Roode and Eric Young are tailor-made for Raw or Smackdown.
