10 Predictions To Bring WWE Raw Back From The Brink

Terror gripped the fanbase at large following Nia Jax and Asuka's middling match on the November 9th edition of Monday Night Raw, after a throwaway comment from Byron Saxton about this being a potential WrestleMania main event was not by accident.

Read that back if you missed it in the news cycle - WWE have, for at least a day, considered the possibility of Nia Jax Vs Asuka as a WrestleMania headliner. A problem in that we've literally just seen it and have done numerous times before, it's also something that right now feels a billion years away from where it needs to be to satisfy the brief.

There's ample time to get there, but the trick here is to rebuild anticipation for the match rather than the match itself. As a result (and with the Raw women's division in tatters, but more on that later), Nia and Shayna need to appear more unbeatable than ever before at Asuka's expense. A delayed tag team feud with Asuka and a mystery partner would be a strong post-Royal Rumble direction, if only because the matches have a chance of presenting the Champions as completely unstoppable.
