10 Problems And Solutions For WWE's Booking Problems
6. Remember When Wade Barrett Won The King of The Ring Tournament...
...and was almost immediately shuttled into a feud with R-Truth holding a plunger like a scepter? Wow. That sure was weird... Welp. Somebody had to be the odd man out on WWE's midcard, and the man with a finish as protected as Randy Orton's RKO was that guy. Though seemingly possessing everything a main eventer needs to stand out, there's Wade Barrett, now possibly King Barrett forever, and maybe also forever a midcarder, too. One can only hope that as an idea, post Money In The Bank Briefcase holding, King Barrett could form a team with Sheamus as King Sheamus, and the two of them could be an evil tag team that runs roughshod over the tag division in a manner similar to Steve Williams and Terry Gordy's Miracle Violence Connection. Presuming that we'll have to wait for Sheamus to lose the briefcase/win the championship and/or become King of the Ring, we'll be just waiting and watching King Barrett be an awesome and solid performer on the midcard for at least eight more months without having something significant (and deserved) to creatively sink his teeth into.
