10 Problems With Booking John Cena Vs Brock Lesnar At WWE SummerSlam

5. Brock Won't Be Doing Any Of The Talking Once Again

Although the imperious Paul Heyman is simply majestic on the microphone - as we've seen for the last 15 years in WWE - sometimes, it would be nice to hear what his client had to say. It's very rare these days that Brock Lesnar is given a microphone and allowed to shoot off. That's probably to do with the ability Heyman has on the microphone in some ways, but it's also to do with the misconceptions people have about Lesnar himself. As an NCAA and WWE Champion who has made a career out of hurting people (quite literally, in some cases), you always assume that with Heyman in control of his promo work, Brock cannot do it himself. However, that's simply not true. Give the video below a quick watch (or at least the first couple of minutes of it), and see how Lesnar plugged his first encounter against Cena back in 2012. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmZoQ9T25I8 He's in great form there, and it justifies just how talented Brock is. There aren't many big guys who are as athletic and agile as Lesnar, and he certainly doesn't do a bad job in plugging a huge match. Sadly, with Paul Heyman by his side we are not going to hear from Brock before SummerSlam, which is a real shame. Giving him the chance to shoot and plug this match would be a fantastic opportunity for the WWE, as it would also allow people to relate to Brock a bit more. And when you're trying to push a main event at a huge pay-per-view like this, you really need the fans to be buying into what the guys are trying to do. Without Brock doing any promo work of his own, it just lowers the intensity and interest of this match a little bit more.
