10 Problems With John Cena Vs. The Undertaker At WWE WrestleMania 32
6. Their Characters Wouldn't Mesh Well. At All.
Let's assume this match is definitely happening, and fast forward a few months to the Royal Rumble. WWE must book a plausible feud between the two, keeping things fresh and entertaining throughout the whole of the 'Road to WrestleMania'. Undertaker would likely play his mind games to throw Cena off, and Cena would likely react to supernatural gimmicks like he has done in the past - terribly. Remember his horrific "embrace the hate" feud with Kane, or the WrestleMania XXX match with Bray Wyatt? Dark characters bring out the melodramatic worst in Cena, and Undertaker is the darkest character of all. WWE's only other choice would be to go in the other direction and keep things light - have Cena be his jovial usual self. I don't really need to explain why that would be even worse, unless you're the type of fan who'd laugh at endless jokes about Taker being "poopy".
