10 Problems With John Cena Vs. The Undertaker At WWE WrestleMania 32

3. Undertaker Should Face Sting

Speaking of stories WWE can build from scratch, a feud that pretty much writes itself (and is therefore far more convenient and plausible than Undertaker vs. Cena) is Taker vs. Sting. The pair have many similarities, to the extent that they can be viewed as opposite sides of the same coin. Both are most famous for performing under dark, intense gimmicks, and both became leading lights of their respective promotions during the Monday Night Wars. Unlike Undertaker vs. Cena, fans have been fantasy-booking this match for over 15 years. What does Undertaker have to gain by facing Cena at 'Mania 32? If he loses, that's another blemish on his record, and yet another scalp for Big Match John. If he wins - so what? He's beaten the biggest stars of various eras. A victory over Cena is hardly going to make his legacy that much more impressive, is it? Sting is a far more exciting opponent, one who deserves a shot at redemption after being so disappointingly mugged at WrestleMania 31. There's a question over his health, especially after sustaining that nasty back injury at Night of Champions - but if he's good to go, WWE should ramp up the pageantry, cut the match time down to a reasonably short length, and let two legends go at it.
