10 Problems WWE Faces After WrestleMania 33
4. Goldberg Is Leaving For Good
In a day and age wherein WWE has a lot of trouble getting fans to cheer babyfaces and boo heels, they've stumbled upon a main event good guy who's actually popular - 50-year-old Universal Champion Bill Goldberg. Unlike Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and other wrestlers who are supposed to be the future of the company, Goldberg always gets a positive, passionate reaction - only The New Day can say the same thing.
Unfortunately, that reliable main event presence will be gone, plain and simple, after WrestleMania. Goldberg's run was always meant to be temporary - it was actually lengthened from what was originally planned, which was just a single Survivor Series match. Still, as Goldberg has complained about the amount of training he has to do in order to stay in ring shape, don't expect his tenure to be extended again.
At WrestleMania, Goldberg will return the favor to Brock Lesnar, then head off into the sunset. Then, WWE will be left without a main event babyface fans are actually behind.
