8. Who Beats Roman Reigns?
This is a difficult problem for WWE. As fans, we do love a long title reign. It solidifies a champion and shows them as a strong force and can potentially propel said superstar to stardom. The issue is who on earth can dethrone this champion?
This is the scenario with Roman Reigns. The Head of the Table is seemingly being positioned for a WrestleMania match with The Rock, a match that Reigns will surely win. From there, where does WWE go?
It's highly unlikely Reigns will drop the title on the Road to WrestleMania, or even at the Rumble. So, post WrestleMania there is no one left to credibly dethrone The Big Dog. Cesaro, Edge, Finn Balor and John Cena have all had their shots and have come up short.
Even if the Draft brings new faces over to SmackDown, those faces will probably just be fodder for Reigns until he clashes with The Rock. Now is the time for WWE to look over their roster and decide who will beat Roman Reigns. This run should be establishing new stars; WWE just needs to decide who that star is sooner rather than later.
