10 Problems WWE Must Solve In The 2024 Draft

9. Picking Wrestlers Who Aren’t Jumping

This is enough to make one tear hair from head.

Theoretically, every wrestler on the roster is eligible for the Draft. That's fine, but casually dropping in notes like, 'Wrestler A is staying put on Show B' is boring as hell. In 2023, the first two picks revealed that The Bloodline would remain on SmackDown and Cody Rhodes would stay on Raw. Thrilling scenes, eh?

That's a total waste of the concept. Fans don't give a crap about Draft announcements unless wrestlers are jumping from one brand to another. Why would they? It's akin to WWE saying. 'Yeah...you're just gonna be watching what you've been watching before this'.

Downplay the remaining wrestlers even if that means skipping on a few star names during the Draft itself. WWE should only focus on those who are actually making moves, not those who are staying on the brand they're already working for. That's a simple, simple premise.
