7. Sanity Vs. The New Day - 2018

Ah yes, remember Sanity? You know Eric Young and his band of scary psychopaths who could have been an excellent midcard act had Vince and co. not treated them like they treat famous WCW pay per view names. In NXT, they were really good as this dangerous group of crazies. And in truth, their main roster run had also gotten off to a very promising start when they destroyed the Usos on night one. Their first real feud would be against The New Day.

Had WWE gone all in, this could have been a really engaging faction war, especially given the contrasting styles of the two groups. It was not to be though. Sanity beat Big E, Kofi and Woods in a Tables Match before just vanishing altogether.

A potential long term storyline between the two groups could have been a massive hit. Perhaps they could have incorporated the Tag Titles too at some point and elevated those belts in the process. So much potential, all wasted.
