10 Promising Wrestling Feuds That Ended Too Soon

2. Triple H Vs. Booker T

It seems strange to say that this feud didn't last long enough when the time between Triple H hitting a Pedigree and going for a pin alone was more than four days, but most fans agree WWE got this one wrong.

After The Game emerged victorious from their encounter at WrestleMania XIX, Booker T did get a rematch on Raw, but with Shawn Michaels as the guest referee it was pretty obvious in which direction things were going, and Triple H soon moved onto an mercilessly dull program with Kevin Nash instead.

While not every wrestling story-line has to have a happy ending, it would have made more sense for Booker to take the belt - if not at 'Mania then a month or two down the road - after Triple H's pre-match rhetoric appeared to hint at racism.
