10 Pushes That WWE Ruined In 2022

8. Raquel Rodriguez

13 May 2022 will likely be etched in Raquel Rodriguez' mind forever. Her open challenge erm...challenge to Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women's Title on blue brand telly was a cool reminder of the progress she's made since acting as Dakota Kai's very own Chyna down on NXT.

Did WWE follow up on that top match with more? Did they b*llocks. Instead, Raquel became the latest victim of the nonstop Women's Tag-Team Title hunt that favours random pairings over proper thought-out duos. This year alone, Rodriguez has teamed with both Aliyah and Shotzi in such tags, and it hasn't done anything for her.

She was on course to become SmackDown's new female babyface sensation. What the hell happened to that?! Fans lapped up Raquel's badass vibes vs. Ronda, then creative ruined everything by turning her into some 'happy to be there' milquetoast character who had/has nothing to shout about.

The fact this keeps happening is alarming.
