10 Pushes That WWE Ruined In 2022
7. Madcap Moss
If anyone needs an example of how little that Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy means to WWE, then take a peek at Madcap Moss right now. He started the year as a walking wisecracker, then ditched Happy Corbin for a singles push that actually seemed to be going in the right direction.
Yeah, about that.
Madcap's more serious persona, which debuted in June, was one of SmackDown's midcard storyline gems. He'd been pushed over the edge by Corbin's ego, and decided to roar back. Moss has the body, the improving in-ring skills, decent ability on the mic; he just doesn't have Triple H's backing.
The dude has faded away badly during the second half of 2022. It's pretty clear to anyone watching SmackDown weekly that he's gone from ongoing concern to just another short-lived push creative can't be arsed thinking about anymore. That's a shame, because he was showing some fire in his new role.
