10 Pushes That WWE Ruined In 2022

5. The Viking Raiders

Remember when WWE's only plan for Erik and Ivar was to have rivals refer to them as smelly Vikings who sorely needed to wash those stinky beards? That trundled on into 2022, but was majestically replaced by a brand new plan mid-way through the year. Suddenly, The Viking Raiders were heels, and damn good ones.

A brief name change to The "Vicious" Viking Raiders followed, then WWE lost interest in that but maintained the duo's menace for a few more weeks. The thumpings they gave all and sundry in the SmackDown doubles division were lovely to watch, and that should've gone on a lot longer.

It didn't though.

Erik and Ivar began running away from acts like New Day, and they've reverted to type by becoming just another team on Friday nights. Meanwhile, Hit Row have rocketed ahead of them despite being inferior in-ring and playing before almost total silence from live crowds every week.

What a missed opportunity.
