7. If He Fails In The UFC Will He Consider Another Promotion?
Lets say Punk debuts in the UFC and loses his first match. No big deal. Lots of fighters lose their first match. It's safe to say that the UFC would give him a second fight, short of anything truly bizarre taking place in the first one. Should he lose the second? Now that would make things interesting. 0-2 fighters often find themselves cut from the UFC. Punk might get a third thanks to his name value, but it would seriously devalue both the fighter and the promotion's credibility. With a cut, would he keep fighting? Maybe got to Titan Fights, or even Bellator?
