10 Quick WWE Fixes To Save Braun Strowman

2. Royal Rumbler

Eliminated early in the 2017 Royal Rumble to intentionally keep him visually separated from main eventers he physically dwarfed (more on those later), Braun should go the distance this year to earn a guaranteed shot at one of the two major titles by virtue of destroying every major foe.

Fans showered Batista and Roman Reigns with disdain in the 2014 and 2015 Rumble matches respectively, so desperate that they were to see Daniel Bryan earn a title shot on the grandest stage. No Mercy was undeniably an enormous setback for Strowman, but careful consideration and a long unbeaten run between now and January should restore much of the faith fans had in him before the Lesnar loss.

Though WWE seem grimly set on a Roman Reigns/Brock Lesnar superclash whether the audience wants it or not, Braun could muscle his way in front with the offer of a rematch to atone for the No Mercy defeat. Redemptive and relentless, his second bite at the 'Beast' could garner a more satisfying conclusion.

Alternatively, should the 'Monster Among Men' look towards Tuesdays, a profound squash over midcarder-for-life Jinder Mahal could be the immensely satisfying end to his title reign after a lengthy run.
