7. Bring The (Other) Boss To WWE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPvyFP8nbGc ...for example, how about a super-intense shooter with a passion for competition and a killer, movie star grin? In Lucha Undergrounds first season, Alberto El Patrón was a revelation to those of us who hadnt seen anything of Rodríguez outside of a WWE ring, and probably a revelation to those who only remembered him from his time as a masked luchador. El Patrón (Spanish for The Boss) was a tough, deadly action hero of a man, a battle-scarred veteran of a decade and a half of brutal in-ring wars whod travelled the globe beating up punks and drawing money from thrilled, baying crowds. He had a ready grin - even a wink, on occasion - yet was perfectly prepared to beat someone (anyone) to a pulp or even apply a little rule-breaking if it meant winning. He was Han Solo with an armbar, Spartacus in a speedo. Alberto had never been this charismatic before he even used some of his old WWE catchphrases and made them sound relevant and cool. Say youve taken arrogant heel Alberto Del Rio, dumped the Alberto in the sea along with a go-nowhere angle and manager, and begun the process of a babyface turn:
this is who he should end up as. Id buy that guys t-shirt, and theres nothing midcard about The Boss. Allow him the space to get over and avoid giving him nonsensical promos to work his tongue around, and no ones going to mind about his accent. And hey, if
a certain other Boss wants to complain about gimmick infringement, then that could lead to some interesting television...
