10 Rare Backstage Moments Between Wrestling Couples

5. Shawn Michaels & Sunny

Spotted perhaps reminiscing politely about old times during WrestleMania XXVII weekend, both Shawn Michaels and Tammy 'Sunny' Sytch were lightning rods for controversy a decade and a half earlier. As was their illicit and badly-kept-secret of a relationship that took place behind the back of 'The Golden Haired Fox's longterm boyfriend Chris 'Skip' Candido.

Both Michaels and Sytch have both admitted to it in books and interviews since, supported by anecdotes from wrestlers and colleagues who either knew or at least heard about their relationship at the time. The stories are typically tempestuous, but that too is in keeping with the tales told about them in more hedonistic times.

With water seemingly somewhat under the bridge between the pair, both look relatively at ease ahead of entries into the 2011 Hall Of Fame. It was just a year removed from Shawn's in-ring retirement, but Sunny had been less familiar since her 1998 departure outside of a few forgotten cameos in the mid-2000s.
